Summary
This device was obsoleted in year 2000! AT90S4414-4 is easily replaced by the AT90S8515-4. It's practically the same device, just twice the memories. The people we spoke to reported the transition to be mostly painless. The device was also available in a 5V version, AT90S4414-8.
